  • Happy Sweetie???

So, since my girlfriend keeps telling me that I need to update, and since Sally told Alysha that I need to update, I guess it is time to update.

Things are going pretty good right now, school, work and of course, talking to my baby. I just signed up for classes for next year. Right now I have 3, Greek Culture, Finance 3000 and Econ 3251 (I really hate Econ). I have to wait till the summer, hopefully by Memorial Day, to find out if I made it into the School of Accountancy. I'm really hoping that I do because I really haven't thought about what I am going to take if I don't make it into it. I have a 3.456 GPA right now, and the cut-off is going to be around a 3.4, so I should be good granted I keep my grades up this semester. Been doin more studying for these next round of tests (which starts next week) than I did for the first one, which I hope helps cause I need to do better on my Management and Marketing tests. I can't wait for spring break though. I'm ready to not have to worry about classes... plus I want to come home to Alysha!

Course, everyone by now knows about her. We've been together almost 4 months now (on the 19th). She is so amazing. She came up here a couple weeks ago to visit for a day. Course, I wasn't expecting her till like 5 or 6 Friday night and she showed up when I went to breakfast Friday morning. I was so surprised! At first, I didn't realize it was her, Sally gives me crap about that. It was fun, we went out to breakfast and hung out, then I took her to Shakespear's Pizza and we watched the sunset. Then Saturday she got to eat at good ole' Dirty Dobbs. I am ready to get home though to see her. Its been about 2 weeks and I really want to see her. Now, I know it doesn't sound like a long time (especially to Kristin, considering she doesn't get to see her boyfriend for like 10 weeks, well... it will have been like 10 weeks on Spring Break), but to START a long distance relationship and keep it going, it is tough when we don't get to see each other. Hopefully after spring break it isn't this long (3 weeks without seeing her). Then we'll have summer and then we have to start it all over again. However, she is worth it. She is pretty amazing. She does so much for me without me even asking, like sending me stuff in the mail and calling in the mornings to wake me up and such. I love her to death.

I am pretty ready to get outta the dorms. Our neighbors are insanely loud. Richard and I have both had to tell them multiple times to shut up. I am getting pretty fed up with it, considering Lee doesn't do anything about it even when we tell him. Sam and I put the security deposit down and signed the lease for our new place next year. I'm pretty excited. Granted, its going to be off campus, we'll have our own place and won't have to worry about fire drills or stupid drunk people all the time.

Other than that, I've just been working a lot lately with the Police Department. Pretty boring. The high school wrestling and basketball state championships have been going on the past couple of weeks. So basically... I sit in my truck and read... and that's it. I don't even know why we are there. I guess to get paid to sit there in the car because we don't do traffic since none of the cops actually help out. I ain't gettin out there when we have to system going on. So I read, and go to taco bell, and talk to my love, and get paid for it. I can't wait for spring break though, cause, well of course I get to see Alysha, but I also get to umpire. I'm ready for baseball season, I love to umpire. It is so much fun, plus it is great money.

Ok, so maybe I should go study now... but probably not. I will probably just watch more TV till I go work out again...

  • So all y'all know that I have a new girl in my life. I met Alysha last weekend here back in OP, she goes to KU. She is basically amazing. I have so much fun with her when I get to see her and I always smile when thinking about her or talkin to her. I'm just hoping things go well with us. I've only known her for a week but things are great. We aren't "official" yet, mostly because we are waiting to make sure that this is true and the right thing. We are kinda still in that "honeymoon" phase when you begin a relationship ya know? So even though we are sayin we are takin it slow... we have been movin kinda fast. I came home this weekend so I could go to a wedding with her on Saturday (today). I ended up coming home yesterday though. I got back and went out and got her a rose and put it on her car so when her and her friend Cassie got home, she saw a random rose on her car. I was hiding behind a tree so she wouldn't see me... it was perfect. The look on her face was priceless, she didn't think I was coming home till later Friday evening so she was so surprised. I'm trying to do everything right with this one. I really like her and don't wanna fuck it up. Hopefully we can make the long distance thing work. Friday night she had to work but got off like an hour early to see me. We ended up hanging out at her house from 11pm to 5:30am lol... the little sleep I got was completly worth it though. I love being able to hold her. She makes me so happy... really hope that this lasts. The wedding is tonight, who knows how late I will be out with her tonight, then tomorrow I think we are gonna try and go to her brother's softball game at 7:30, so I definately won't be back to the dorms till 11 or so... oh well, got nothing to do tomorrow anyway. Tme to watch TV and maybe nap for a bit before the wedding, hope everyone else's weekend is going well.

  • Why must so many things be so difficult? School, relationships, careers... just everything. Yeah yeah yeah... I know, if life wasn't difficult then nothing would be worth living for or something like that. Whatever. School is killing me. Literally, I think Econ will be the reason I don't get into the school of accountancy. I absolutely hate it. Have a test next week in it, as well as Accounting and Geology. I hate school... way too much studying involved. Makes me be in a bad mood.

Other than that, Sam and I ran a 5K this past weekend. I wanted to run it in under 30 minutes, ended up running it in 26:46, so I was happy with that. It was actually fun, I enjoyed it. It was hella cold out though. Sam and I went to checkin at 7:30... with windchill, it was 26 degrees out! Thats way to cold to be running in. Don't really have much good things to say right now... dunno why, usually I would. Blah... I'm just ready for thanksgivng break... my birthday... I can't wait.
